# Consent, privacy and terms

PolyJacks contacts a homeowner about the request they made, texts them only when they tick the optional text box beside a visible sentence, and stops texting when they reply STOP.

## What we collect and why

To price a job and book a visit, PolyJacks needs the homeowner's name, service address, mobile phone and email. We use them to give the exact price, to confirm and remind about the visit, and to carry out the work.

## Consent rules

- Contact about the request (confirmations, reminders, scheduling, and calls and emails about it) follows from the homeowner's own request.
- On the website, texts need the homeowner's own tick: one optional box, empty until they tick it, beside a visible sentence - "Text me about my request (optional). Msg freq. varies; msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Terms & Privacy." Without the tick, PolyJacks does not text them; calls and emails about their request still come. Consent to texts is not a condition of purchase.
- Every Continue accepts the Terms and the Privacy Policy (the line under the button: "Continuing accepts our Terms & Privacy."), ticked or not.
- PolyJacks sends no marketing texts.
- An assistant must hold the homeowner's own clear yes before it sends their details. An assistant conveys the homeowner's request; it never gives consent on their behalf.
- Reply STOP to any text and PolyJacks stops texting; every email carries its own one-tap stop link.

## Retention

We keep a record of every request. Contact details and photos are encrypted.

- There is no availability warranty for the API.
